Spot Welding

Spot Welders will operate resistance spot and projection welding machines. Spot Welders are responsible for producing quality parts and quality inspection. Learns and assist in various shop floor activities, such as: Grinding, Rolling, Beveling, Sandblasting, Cutting, CNC, Shipping & Receiving, etc. Must be Flexible and Responsible for learning and helping with various areas, and willing to learn a new trade.

Cutting
Spot Welding
CNC
Shipping & Receiving
Packaging products
Labeling of products
Painting product
Candidate must be able to use basic shop equipment
Candidate must be able to follow procedures
Candidate must be able to work with minimum supervision
Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and abide by safety rules.
Other duties as may be assigned

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to pay attention to details
Basic computer skills
Intermediate math skill
Good hand-eye coordination
Ability to read, write and understand English
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work in a manufacturing environment or work in an office environment
May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical
manufacturing or office setting

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
