Webasto is seeking highly motivated candidates that have experience ensuring excellent technical performance and optimum availability of production equipment to join our team as a Sr.
Program Manager Series at our facility in New Hudson, MI.
Key
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all launch activities for plant to ensure successful hand-over to production Represent the plant's interests in upcoming programs meetings and concept reviews Coordinate interdepartmental activities in and outside the plant, relating to program launches and series production changes Core team member and gateway participant starting at GW1 for new programs Identify organizational gaps and initiate mitigation measures Coordinate slow build, production trials, fast build and email protected events Develop and coordinate robust ramp-up plans and training Prepare regular launch status report and escalate roadblocks, following the Webasto Launch Management standards Provide project back up in high-risk situations, representing the plant's interests Provide Lessons learned and continuous improvement activities Assist Plant Engineering Change Coordinator w/ implementing changes in the plant as needed Minimum
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have a bachelor's degree in a technical field of study 5 years work experience in a fast-paced, automotive lean manufacturing environment 8 years work experience in project management tools and procedures Good knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and core automotive documents incl.
D/PFMEA, control plans and other relevant quality tools Good communication skills and able to address different audiences at all levels of organization, as well as customers Proven ability to apply problem solving tools Entrepreneurially driven / self-driven and motivated Ability to work through ambiguity and define critical path Profound knowledge of program/project launches Solid understanding of working with KPIs Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook How we work togetherOur Culture - Our ValuesWe deliberately associate the first two words of our vision with our culture.
